Black Scene is a great 'ebony' dating site intended to create an environment perfect for users to find love, companionship and more online. Black Scene is one of those sites that, despite having a vast range of features that are extremely useful to its users, we did find that it was particularly expensive for users to upgrade their standard membership to premium membership. At almost $20 per month (and no reductions for buying a long-term membership), we found monthly membership of this site a little too expensive, especially when compared to other sites offering similar services. Our No.1 reviewed site in this category, Black Singles, offers many of the same features as Black Scene, but at only a quarter of the cost in terms of monthly subscription. A similar situation occurs with users of Afro Introductions, our second highest rated site, who get access to loads of great features, for less than $10 a month. We do think it's a shame when a great site is ruined by the fact that its administrators charge too much for monthly membership. That said, if you have the money to spare, there's still a lot going for Black Scene, so read on to find out what the site has on offer.
Black Scene offers great opportunities for users to construct fantastic profiles complete with loads of information and an unlimited number of photos. Users have the opportunity to host their own photo galleries, where they can share their photos with other users. Users also have video profile capacity, allowing them to record a great introductory message to all users and host it on their user profile. This feature particularly impressed us, as it really lets users take advantage of all technology has to offer to get to know site users better.

Black Scene does, all in all, provide a vast range of excellent features for its users to enjoy. Even though everything that is featured on Black Scene is great quality, we can't help but feel that it doesn't offer a great deal in the way of particularly original features. All of the features that are offered by Black Scene are also offered by other sites, often rated higher in our reviews, and in all cases for a considerably cheaper subscription fee. As we have said, we would suggest that all users shop around before subscribing to a black dating site, as we are sure that other sites are better value considering the (frankly exorbitant) subscription fee on Black Scene.
