Users of Ethiopian Singles can create their own profile; complete with an unlimited number of photos to let other users know what you're like. Users also have the option to spend a little more time on their profile to make it a little more exciting. Users can record a video message to introduce themselves and host this message on their profile for all users to check out. Users can also take the 'personality match' test and publish the results on their profile, so that other users know exactly what they are like as a person, and what they are looking for in a lover. We were impressed by both of these features, as we thought they spiced-up the process of creating a profile using Ethiopian Singles. Users can send 'flirts' to other users to let them know that they are interested, and contact them through the internal Ethiopian Singles mailbox, or using the fantastic instant messaging service. Finally, users can manage their contacts using a 'friends network', which is publically viewable, and a 'favorites list', which is private and can't be seen by everyone.

Ethiopian Singles does have a great set of features and a more than acceptable number of users. The site is however, way too expensive to warrant our wholehearted recommendation. At between $25 and $40 per month, this site is the most expensive site we have reviewed in this category. Considering the content of this site as compared to other sites we have reviewed, we don't feel that this price is at all justified, as most of the sites in this category offer the same features (and in many cases, more!) for a lot less in terms of monthly subscription. Ethiopian Singles does offer free membership, and we would suggest that anyone considering subscribing to this site signs up to the free trial to compare the features to those of other sites.
